Certified GMP control laboratory

The VUOS control laboratory holds a GMP certificate for chemical/physical testing of medicinal products and investigational medicinal products issued by SÚKL and a Permit for the manufacture of veterinary medicinal products for the activities of the control laboratory issued by ÚSKVBL.

The laboratory performs chemical testing for partners from pharmaceutical, chemical and veterinary production. The laboratory is equipped with state-of-the-art analytical instrumentation for both large-scale analysis and research activities.

The control laboratory offers:

• Development of analytical methods according to ICH and current pharmacopoeial requirements (Ph. Eur., USP) or according to customer requirements.
• Validation, verification and transfer of analytical methods in accordance with GMP requirements.
• Routine testing of pharmaceutical and veterinary products (assay, impurities, dissociation, identification, physicochemical tests, stability studies).
• Contract analytical control activities in the GMP regime.

The laboratory also offers analytical activities in other quality systems (GLP, ISO 9001) including research and consulting activities.

The laboratory has experienced personnel and unique instrumentation including all necessary techniques (e.g. HPLC, GC, NMR, ICP, MS, SFM, DSC, TGA, disolving equipment).
